BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ursinus College cross country teams
took part in the Mid-East regional on Saturday afternoon hosted by
Muhlenberg College at Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus.
The men finished 27th.
The men’s team top finisher was junior Jeremy Garavel
(Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow) in 121st place at 27:38.3.
Freshman Sam Stortz (Dresher, PA./Upper Dublin)
was the second-best finisher on the team with a time of 27:56.9.
Junior Justin Garavel (Redding, Conn./Joel Barlow)
finished with a time of 28:20.7, followed by senior Dante
Dimidio (Yardley, Pa./Holy Ghost Prep) at 28:27.3. Senior
Brett Godoy (Chichester, Pa./Chichester) finished
with a time of 28:47.0, followed by junior Jeff Centafont
(Southampton, Pa./Wililam Tennent) at 29:25.1. Freshman
Mark Gapinski (Sinking Spring, Pa./Holy Name) was
the final finisher for Ursinus at 29:35.7.
