COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's indoor track and field team finished fourth on Friday night at the Ursinus Invitational with a score of 65.5 points.
Jatin Narang, Evan Shea, Darius Jones and Andrew Carr all earned second-place finishes on the day. Narang took second in the 5k with a time of 15:44.92, while Shea was second in the hurdles at 8.94. Jones was second in the high jump at 5-10.75 feet with Carr throwing a 46-11 in the shot put.
Jones would later pick up a third place finish in the 400 at 52.52, with Shea finishing third in the high jump at 5-08.75. Mark Gapinski also finished third in the 5000, with a time of 15:50.25.
Brian Clancy was fifth in the shot put at 43-8.75, while Marquis Wilson was sixth with a mark of 41-8.75.
Nick Giarratano was sixth in the long jump at 20-25, with Anthony Gochal taking seventh in the high jump at 5-5.
Finally, Chris Flood was eighth in the hurdles at 9.62.
