Led by a strong doubles performance, the Ursinus College men's tennis team ran their record to 10-2 with an 8-1 non-conference win over the Moravian Greyhounds on Thursday.
The Bears jumped to a quick 3-0 lead over Moravian (5-5) in the doubles portion of the match. At the first and second flights, Ursinus rolled to consecutive 8-1 wins for a quick 2-0 lead. Tyler Arsenault and Dylan Marsh made it 3-0 with an 8-4 victory in the third flight.
In singles, the Bears kept things rolling by winning 5 of 6 matches. Evan Stutchin, Evan Lord, Tyler Arsenault, Logan Metcalf-Kelly and Dalton Lynch were all straight set winners for Ursinus.
Weather permitting, the Bears head to Dickinson for a key Centennial Conference match up on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
