Men's Swimming downs Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's swimming team moved their record to 2-0 with a 113-86 win over Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Bears started the day by winning the 200 meter medley relay as junior Jacob Robinson (Columbia, Pa./Lancaster Catholic), senior Charles Messa (Parkland, Fla./North Broward), senior John Wieczorek (Milltown, N.J./St. Joseph) and senior Alexander Pandelidis (York, Pa./Dallastown) with a time of 1:54.33.

In the 800 free, freshman Dylan Cooper (Southampton, Pa./William Tennent) won the event at 9:30.86, followed by sophomore Christian Hoops (Phoenixville, Pa./Great Valley) in the second at 9:33.08.

In the 200 free, sophomore Nicholas DiPalo (Cherry Hill, N.J./Bishop Eustace) was second at 2:10.13.

In the 50 free, freshman Chase Renninger (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) won the event at 25.01.

The 200 IM saw freshman William Benn (Summit, N.J./Summit) win the event 2:18.39 with freshman Marcus Wagner (Shavertown, Pa./Dallas) in second at 2:22.19.

Sophomore Keith Larkin (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) won the 100 fly at 1:03.58, with DiPalo winning the 100 free at 58.43.

In the 100 back, junior Jacob Robinson (Columbia, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) won the event at 1:04.07 with sophomore Henry Nonack (Swarthmore, Pa./Strath Haven) in second at 1:04.91.

In their last scoring event, Pandelidis won the 400 free at 4:28.13.
