The Butler Did It

HAVERFORD, Pa. – It was all freshman forward Ryan Butler on Sunday at the Jimmy Mills tournament.

Butler (Palmyra, N.J./Palmyra) scored four goals and an added an assist as the Bears (2-2) blanked Gwynedd-Mercy (0-4) 5-0 on Sunday at the Jimmy Mills tournament hosted by Haverford College.

Butler scored goals in the 32nd, 52nd, 54th and 75th minutes on seven shots as the Bears blasted the Griffins.

Butler assisted on the other Bears's goal at 73:05, which was scored by freshman midfielder Gabe Haug (Ivyland, Pa./George School).

The five-goal explosion was enough for freshman goalkeeper Kieran Keyser (Petersburg, N.J./Ocean City), who needed to make just two saves in the win.

Ursinus heads to Scranton on Wednesday night.
