Scott Named Scholar All-American

Scott Named Scholar All-American

Ursinus College's Evan Scott was honored as a Division III Scholar All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), in conjunction with Warrior and New Balance.

Scott concluded his undergraduate tenure with a 3.67 cumulative grade-point average, majoring in health and exercise physiology with a minor in Biology. He earned a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester.

The USILA Scholar All-America Program recognizes student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically, and as citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee selects an overall team representing Division I, II and III.

A Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.

Scott was on pace for another strong season in 2020, pairing three goals with four assists and collecting 10 ground balls through seven games. A two-time All-Centennial Conference and Academic All-Centennial honoree, as well as a two-year team captain, Scott finished his standout career with 73 ground balls, 20 caused turnovers, 20 goals, and 14 assists.
