LANCASTER, Pa. – Ursinus College men's lacrosse sophomore Evan Scott was awarded honorable mention on the All-Centennial Conference team.
Scott took a big leap forward as one of the league's premier defensive midfielders this season, racking up a team-high 11 caused turnovers and 21 ground balls. The sophomore became a dangerous weapon in the transition game, collecting six goals and an assist after registering one goal and two helpers as a rookie.
Scott netted a goal in six different games, including a stretch of four in a row at the end of the campaign. He racked up a career-high three caused turnovers against 5th-ranked Cabrini on March 17 and added two more against No. 5 Gettysburg a week later.
Senior defenseman Brett Wojtkowiak was honored on the All-Sportsmanship Team. The co-captain started all 13 games, tallying 20 ground balls and causing six turnovers.
