Durst Selected to USILA/Nike North-South Game

2016 North-South All-Star Game Rosters

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Senior midfielder Mike Durst will represent the Ursinus College men's lacrosse team at the 75th annual USILA/Nike North-South Senior All-Star Game.

Durst will suit up for the South team in the Division III showcase, which will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Cabrini College's Edith Robb Dixon Field.

Though many have been offered spots over the years, Durst is only the second Bear to compete in the North-South game; he joins Eric Farris, who made the South All-Star Team in 2010.

Durst registered career highs in goals (12), points (14), ground balls (17), and caused turnovers (7) for an Ursinus squad that reached the Centennial Conference championship game for the second year in a row. He scored five goals in back-to-back regular-season victories against Franklin and Marshall and then-No. 17 Dickinson, and netted a marker during a run of seven unanswered goals in the Bears' triumph over the Diplomats in the CC semifinals.

Durst was part of a 13-man senior class that stands as the winningest in Ursinus men's lacrosse history. The Bears have gone 46-18 (22-10 CC) over the last four years, including a 28-7 mark in the previous two, and made the program's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament a year ago in addition to two CC title games.

Tickets for the Division III and Division I and II North-South games may be purchased at Cabrini. For rosters and more information, click here.
