Men's Lacrosse now 3-0 after 15-5 win at Stockton

GALLOWAY, N.J. – Ursinus got five goals and an assist from sophomore Mark Stratton (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township), while freshman attack Logan Panaccione (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) had three goals and an assist as the Bears (3-0) defeated Richard Stockton (2-2) 15-5 Saturday afternoon in men's lacrosse action. 

Ursinus raced out to a 7-0 lead in the first half and had a 13-goal lead at 15-2 in the fourth quarter. The Bears went 2-for-4 on extra man opportunities and grabbed 38 ground balls. 
Sophomore midfielder Ian Moore (Fair Haven, N.J./Rumson-Fair Haven) and sophomore attack Steve Smyrl (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) each had two goals, while Smyrl had three assists.

Sophomore midfielder Jake Weber (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township) also chipped in with two assists on the afternoon.

Defensively, freshman long stick midfielder Anthony Torello (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett), junior midfielder Nile Thompson (Merion Station, Pa./Lower Merion) and sophomore long stick midfielder Adebayo Adeyemo (Scotch Plains, N.J./Peddie) each had two caused turnovers. Torello had a team-high five groundballs. 

Freshman James Fairchild (Wayne, Pa./Malvern Prep) won eight of his 16 faceoffs he had on the afternoon.

In goal, freshman Brian Neff (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) made nine saves in 52 minutes while freshman Andrew Sabia (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) had three in seven minutes.

Ursinus wil host Monclair State on Wednesday.
