Men's Golf Wraps up Spring at F&M Invitational

LITITZ, PA. - Evan Coffey led the Ursinus College men's golf team to a 12th place finish at the F&M Invitational after shooting an 83 (+12).  

The Bears landed on a team tally of 356 shooting 72-over at the Bent Creek Country Club. The course is a par-71 course that stretches over 6,434 yards located in Lititz, Pennsylvania.  

Coffey opened his round with back-to-back bogeys before bouncing back with a birdie on the par-4 8th hole. He closed out the front nine with a 42 and used five pars on the back nine to finish tied for 35th.  

Senior Luke Godzieba closed out his round just behind Coffey after shooting an 87 (+16), finishing tied for 49th. Godzieba used a three-over 39 on the back nine and knocked in a birdie on the par-4 17th hole for his impressive round.  

Peyton Vostenak signed for a 90 (+19) behind a birdie on the par-4 5th hole and four pars for a 57th place finish.  

Sophomore Billy Cardino wrapped up his round with a 96 (+25), while teammate T.J. Stanton finished just behind with a 99 (+28). Cardino earned two pars on the afternoon, while shooting a 48 on both the front and back nine. Stanton used four pars on the day for a tied for 68th place finish.  

The Bears will return to action this weekend for the Centennial Conference Championships at the Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
