Men's Golf Takes Third at Eastern

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – Kyle Quagliero never made worse than bogey in posting a 77 to headline a balanced effort for the Ursinus College men's golf team at the Eastern Invitational on Wednesday.

Quagliero was consistently excellent on a wet day at St. Davids Golf Club, tying for fifth place overall in a field of 33 to power the Bears to a third-place finish (324).

The sophomore was locked in on the front nine, logging seven pars on the way to a 37. He tacked on four more pars during a 40 on the back nine.

Jordan Pick continued a strong start to his rookie campaign with an 81. He matched Quagliero with 11 pars, including a run of five straight from the second hole to the sixth and another streak of four on holes 13-16.

Brian Barrett and Ryan Hodgdon each carded an 83 with seven pars, with Barrett making birdie on the par-five 16th hole.

Jack Bagnell finished with an 86, highlighted by a birdie on the par-four 3rd.

The Bears host the fall edition of their annual Revolutionary Classic this weekend at Chesapeake Bay Golf Club.
