Junior Russell Hill Won Moravian College's Invitational on Thursday with a score of 74, while leading the Bears to a 7th place finish overall.
Hill tied with one other golfer, but with a better back nine score, Hill was declared the winner.
Senior Chris McCann shot 80 to finish tied for 13th. Sophomore Matthew Holmes shot 82 in his first collegiate event to tie for 29th place overall. Matt Sherman and John Jenkins shot 91 and 97 respectively.
The players competed on a tight and difficult Woodstone CC layout. Adding to the difficulties of the course, a thunderstorm interrupted play with three holes to go.
