ELVERSON, Pa. – Ursinus College sophomore Chris McCann took top honors, while freshman Russell Hill took runner-up as Ursinus finished second at their home invitational on Tuesday with a score of 318, just three strokes behind Rosemont.
McCann fired a three-over-par 73 and Hill was just one stroke behind at 74 on the very difficult Stonewall Golf Club North Course. The two Bears have been dubbed "Chrushel" by teammates for the one-two punch they provide in the Bear's lineup.
Senior Bob Linneman shot 84 and junior Tim Duke toured the course with 87. Junior Kevin Janowski also played and shot 98.
