NABC Honors Court Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Recent Ursinus College graduates Matt Williams and Jake O'Neill were joined by rising seniors Ryan McTamney and Shane Stark on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honor Court, the organization announced Thursday.

Williams is a two-time recipient of the award, which recognizes juniors and seniors with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or better at the end of the academic year. The Bears produced four Honors Court student-athletes for the second consecutive season, tied for the program's highest total since having six in 2009.

An Applied Economics major, Williams appeared in 22 games with one start during the 2018-19 campaign, averaging 2.6 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest.

A mathematics major, O'Neill graduated this spring after completing his junior year, during which he started six games among 19 appearances.

A health and exercise physiology major, McTamney was a second team All-Centennial Conference selection. The rising senior was second in the conference in scoring at 17.1 points per game and stands just 71 points shy of 1,000 for his career.

Also a health and exercise physiology major, Stark joined his high school teammate McTamney as a first time all-conference honoree, receiving honorable mention for a strong season in which he averaged a career-high 10.2 points per game and posted a team-leading 6.1 rebounds per contest.
