KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the third year in a row, the Ursinus College men's basketball team was recognized with a Team Academic Excellence Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Now in its seventh year, the NABC's Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the previous season. In order to be receive the award, institutions in the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA must count the grade point averages of all men's student-athletes who competed during the 2018-19 season.

Ursinus finished the 2018-19 campaign with a 15-11 overall record and went 12-6 in CC play, reaching the CC semifinals for the third consecutive season.
