Men's Basketball dropped by Johns Hopkins, 90-56

BALTIMORE, Md. – Johns Hopkins put three players in double figures, paced by 24 points from Jimmy Hammer, as the Blue Jays (2-2, 1-0 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (1-3, 0-1 Centennial) 90-56 Saturday in men's basketball action from Charm City.

The Blue Jays sank nine three-pointers on the afternoon and attempted nearly two times as many foul shots (32 to 17) foul shots as the Bears in the Centennial opener for both teams.

The Bears got 15 points from sophomore guard Malik Draper in the loss, while junior guard Trey Harry had eight points playing in his hometown. Harry also picked up a team-best seven rebounds on the day.

Senior guard Ryan Adams also added in eight points on the afternoon.

George Bugarinovic had a double-double for the Blue Jays, with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Ursinus hosts Swarthmore on Tuesday.
