GRANTHAM, Pa. –Despite a game-high 20 points from sophomore guard Trevor Norton, Ursinus (0-2) saw Rosemont (1-1) make a late run as the Ravens defeated Ursinus 82-76 in the consolation game of the 2013 Homewood Suites Men's Basketball Tip-Off tournament hosted by Messiah College.
For his efforts, Norton was named to the All-Tournament team.
Norton was 6-for-13 from the field and had five three pointers for the Bears. Sophomore guard Malik Draper had 16 points for Ursinus, with freshman forward Patrick Mekongo scoring 13 off the bench. Senior guard Ryan Adams chipped in with ten points on the night.
Mekongo, Draper and Norton all had five rebounds, while freshman guard Hanif Sutton netted seven assists.
Rosemont was led by DeAndre Jordan who had 14 points, while Nadir Stukes had 11.
