Krasna hits game-winner for MBB in win over Haverford, 64-62

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Ursinus College junior point guard Jesse Krasna (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) hit a foul line jumper with one second left on Wednesday night, sending Ursinus to a 64-62 win over Haverford in men's basketball play.

Ursinus (8-14, 6-9 Centennial) held Haverford without a field goal in the last two minutes of the contest. 

Senior forward Kevin Janowski (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) scored 15 points, while freshman guard Malik Draper (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Area) had 13 points on the night.

Senior forward Jon Ward (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) scored 11 as Ursinus held as much as a nine point lead in the second half. 

The Bears shot the ball well, converting on 52.2 percent of their shots on the night.

Haverford was led by Cam Baker, who scored a game-high 22 points. 

Ursinus will host Johns Hopkins on Saturday.
