Men's Basketball drops close contest to Muhlenberg, 75-73

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Muhlenberg got 28 points from sophomore guard Malique Killing, including a 14-for-14 performance at the foul line as the Mules (11-7, 7-4 Centennial) handed Ursinus (7-11, 5-6 Centennial) a 75-73 loss in men's basketball play on Wednesday night.

The Mules rallied from a 16-point first-half deficit to take the win as they sank ten straight foul shots in the last four minutes.

Ursinus got 14 points from junior guard Jesse Krasna (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) and 13 points from freshman guard Malik Draper (Scranton, Pa./Scranton).

Both senior forward Jon Ward (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) and Kevin Janowski (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) had ten points. 

Brandon Bovino had 13 points and a game-high 17 rebounds for Muhlenberg.

Ursinus led 36-20 with 6:13 left on a pair of foul shots by Draper before Muhlenberg closed the half with a 15-3 scoring run to pull within four at 39-35 at intermission.

Muhlenberg finished the game shooting 86.2 percent from the foul line.
