ITHACA, N.Y – Ursinus Gymnastics junior Alyssa DeLorme concluded her breakout season by finishing fifth in the All-Around at the 2022 NCGA Championships held at Ithaca College on Saturday.
Competing as an individual, DeLorme recorded an overall all-around score of 37.175 between the four events. Her 5th place finished earned her NCGA All-American honors due to finishing in the top-8 positions. She registered a career best score of 9.550 on the vault which tied for the highest tally on the vault among the eight gymnasts battling for all-around scores. DeLorme posted a 9.475 on the floor and recorded a 9.175 on the beam. In her first event of the day, DeLorme tallied an 8.975 on the bars.
DeLorme wraps up a season that saw her set career best scores in all four events while registering a new school record on the bars during the regular season. She earned WCGA Regular Season All-America in the all-around and was a two-time NCGA East All-Around Gymnast of the Week recipient.
