Sherry Selected for NFHCA Senior Game

GILBERT, Ariz. – Senior field hockey star Bridget Sherry has been selected to participate in the 2018 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game.

Sherry is one of 60 seniors chosen for the annual prestigious event, which is scheduled to take place in conjunction with the NCAA championship on November 17 at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pennsylvania.

The Senior Game nomination will be a fitting capper to an outstanding career for Sherry, a three-time All-Centennial Conference and all-region performer who has led the Bears to two conference titles and a Final Four appearance. Sherry has started 68 games as the anchor of the backfield, racking up six defensive saves. She has also been the Bears' designated penalty stroke artist, converting on eight of ten such opportunities over the last three years.

Sherry was one of four CC players to be selected for the Senior Game, joining a pair from Franklin & Marshall and one from Johns Hopkins.

Sherry and the Bears head to No. 15 Johns Hopkins for a huge conference showdown on Saturday.
