Field Hockey Cracks National Rankings

GILBERT, Ariz. – For the first time this season, the Ursinus College field hockey team is nationally ranked.

The Bears cracked the latest Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) poll at No. 20, returning to the national rankings for the first time since last October.

Ursinus is one of three Centennial Conference programs to appear in the poll, joining Franklin & Marshall (No. 12) and Johns Hopkins (No. 17).

The Bears enter the rankings on the back of a five-game winning streak, during which they have outscored their opponents by a margin of 20-3. Their quest for a sixth consecutive victory continues Thursday, when they head to No. 4 TCNJ for a top-20 showdown.
