Wednesday Baseball Moved to Ursinus

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College baseball team's long-awaited home opener will come a day sooner than expected.

The Bears' game at Immaculata on Wednesday has been moved to Thomas Field due to unplayable conditions at Immaculata. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.

All 11 of Ursinus' contests this season have been true road games, but the road warriors are about to enter an extended stretch of time in their friendly confines. The next six games – and eight of the next nine – are all at home. The Bears host Gwynedd Mercy on Thursday and welcome Dickinson to town for their Centennial Conference opener on Saturday.

Wednesday's game will mark a historic occasion, as the contest will be the first Ursinus home game to be broadcast live. Fans can catch the action at the Bears' streaming home as part of the Centennial Conference Digital Network.
