Baseball swept by Dickinson

CARLISLE, Pa. -  The Ursinus Bears entered the weekend looking to hold on to second place in the Centennial Conference, but suffered a setback being swept by Dickinson in a double header falling 3-1, and 5-0, Saturday afternoon at MacPhail Field.

The Bears fall to fourth place with a record of 13-11 and 5-5 in the Centennial, while with the sweep Dickinson moves ahead to third place at 18-6, 4-4 in conference.

Freshman pitcher Seth Regensburg had a solid outing in game one, only allowing two runs on four hits in seven innings with four strike outs. Regensburg couldn't get the run support for the victory, dropping his record to 3-3 for the season.

The Red Devils pitching held the Bears to seven hits and striking out 21 batters for the day.

The only run of the day was scored on a Timo Muro single to drive in CJ Diana in the 5th inning of game one.

Ursinus will look to rebound Monday April 14th at Albright; game time will begin at 4:00 pm.
