Big Second Half Lifts Women's Lacrosse

The Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team scored 10 second-half goals to break away from a tie game and defeat Ursinus, 15-7, in its final road game of the season.

Senior Jordy Bonvini led the Mules (7-7, 3-5) with four goals, while senior Eliza Clark also recorded a hat trick with three goals. Junior Amanda Tullo scored twice and added a career-high five assists.

Muhlenberg trailed by two goals midway through the first half but rallied to tie the score at 5-5 by halftime. The teams traded goals at the start of the second half before the Mules went on a 7-0 run to break the game open.

Tullo scored both of her goals in the run and also assisted Clark and sophomore Courtney Allen on goals. The two goals gave Tullo 99 for her career.

Goals by freshman Taliah Carson - her second of the game - and sophomore Abigail Markhoff - her second of the season - in the final three minutes accounted for the final score.

The defense held the Bears (3-11, 1-7) scoreless for a span of more than 18 minutes in the second half. Sophomore Jordan Segrave finished with eight saves, and junior Erin Duca and sophomores Kate O'Connell and Victoria Friedel caused two turnovers apiece.

Sophomore Gabriella Crivelli (pictured above) scored a goal and picked up three ground balls.
