Maddie Wagenfeld
Title: Assistant Coach

Madeline Wagenfeld is entering her third year at Ursinus as the goalkeeping coach. She works directly with the current and incoming goalkeepers in further enhancing their skills, knowledge, and execution of the game.

Prior to Wagenfeld's arrival to the Ursinus coaching staff, she spent a year working at Purdue University. While there she completed her undergraduate professional internship with Purdue Sports Performance assisting and coaching summer training programs for volleyball, women’s basketball, and wrestling. The internship then landed Wagenfeld a position with the Purdue wrestling team, where she served as an assistant operational manager and the video film analyst for the 2016-2017 Big Ten wrestling season. Wagenfeld also worked strongly with coordinating and directing fundraising events for Purdue Wrestling's nonprofit organization, Boilermaker RTC.

Wagenfeld is a 2016 graduate of Lock Haven University, where she was a dominant goalkeeper for the Bald Eagles. In 2015, her save percentage between the pipes landed her in the top ten in Division I. Wagenfeld led LHU to a historic win, a shutout over A-10 power UMass that marked the school's first victory over that program.

When Wagenfeld is not working with field hockey she is a full time veterinarian technician at Steinbach Veterinary Hospital.
