Jeff Vangorder enters his second season with the Bears after joining the program prior to the 2018-2019 campaign.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jeff on our coaching staff," head coach Kevin Small said when Vangorder was hired. "He's a seasoned and talented coach who brings a wealth of experience working with and recruiting high-band academic student-athletes.

"Jeff is a great fit for Ursinus, and we are excited to have his unique talents."

Vangorder comes to Ursinus after three seasons at Carnegie Mellon, where he was the full-time lead assistant and helped the Tartans program in nearly every facet of the game. During his time at CMU, Vangorder recruited 14 student athletes from seven different states while helping the Tartans reach postseason play for the first time since 2009.

Prior to Carnegie Mellon, Jeff got his start in coaching as the lead assistant to Adam Stockwell at Hamilton College for four seasons.

A native of Cortland, New York, Jeff and his fiancé, Laura, reside in Perkiomenville.
