Rick Ringenwald begins his 12th season as an assistant coach at Ursinus.

A 1988 graduate of the University of Vermont, Ringenwald was a four-year varsity letter winner and captain of the men's swim team as a senior. He was also part of the school record-setting 800 free relay in 1985.

Ringenwald attended Hatboro-Horsham High School, where he was a three-year varsity letter winner and captain of the team during his senior year. He held school records in the 200 IM, 100 free and 400 free relay. He was also a top-ten finisher at the PIAA District I Championships and earned the Most Valuable Swimmer award as a senior.

A resident of Collegeville with his wife Patti and two children, Ringenwald earned a bachelor of arts in environmental studies from Vermont, and later received a master of science in environmental health from Temple University.
