Pat Randolph is in his ninth season with Ursinus as the wide receivers coach.

Since Randolph’s arrival in Collegeville, he has coached a total of six All-Centennial selections, including two time honorees Al Desiderio and Jerry Rahill. From 2010-2013 Randolph mentored Rahill, the all-time leader in receptions at Ursinus (186).

In 2013 Randolph helped Rahill achieve Ursinus single-season records for receiving yards (1,074)and receptions (78), as well as the Ursinus record for receptions in a game (12). From 2009-2011 Randolph coached Nick Giarratano, who is now the school’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions (23).

Prior to his time at Ursinus, Randolph served as the Offensive Coordinator at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina from 2005-06. During his tenure at Guilford, Randolph created one of the most explosive offenses in Division III, ranking in the top 10 in multiple categories.

In 2007 Randolph would head to Howard University to take over as the Division II program's Offensive Coordinator.

Randolph’s coaching career started at West Virginia University, where he served as a student assistant. In 1988 he accepted a graduate assistant position at Ball State University. One year later he was a full time coach at Utah State University, where he worked with the outside linebackers.

In 1991 Randolph took over as the running backs coach for Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He aided IUP’s run to the Division II national championship game that year.  

Coach Randolph has brought a wealth of football knowledge to the Ursinus football program, not only through his experience at both the college and high school level but also through his work at camps from the NFL level to youth football.

Randolph grew up in Delaware County and graduated from Ridley High School, where he was an All-State running back. He would go on to play for the Mountaineers of West Virginia University, rushing for 1,274 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career. 

Randolph has four children; Shae, Jalen, Hayli, and Taylor.
