Evan Friend
Title: Volunteer Assistant Coach - Sprints

Evan Friend is entering his fourth year as an assistant coach for the Ursinus track and field team, where he works primarily with the sprinters.

Friend competed successfully in the 60M, 100M, and 200M sprints as a student-athlete at Franklin and Marshall College, where he was an NCAA Division III qualifier and Centennial Conference record holder in the indoor 200. Friend holds the CC championship meet record in both the indoor and outdoor 200 in addition to owning indoor school records in the 60 and 200.

While at F&M, Friend was track & field captain during the 2015-16 campaign, also acting as a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) for his entire athletic career and serving as Special Events Co-Coordinator in 2015. He graduated in 2016 with a degree in Biological Foundations of Behavior: Animal Behavior and a minor in Judaic Studies.
