Dufoe came up clutch as the field hockey team picked up a massive victory over No. 4 Messiah, scoring both goals to lead the Bears to a thrilling 2-1 result. The senior erased an early 1-0 deficit with a goal in the first quarter, then netted the eventual game-winner early in the third quarter to clinch Ursinus' first win over a top-5 team since the 2015 Centennial Conference championship against Franklin & Marshall.
Dufoe was back at it on Saturday, registering her fourth goal of the season in a 4-0 triumph at William Smith. Dufoe has found the back of the cage in all three games to open the season and now has 20 goals for her career.
